1、 Do a good job of cleaning and disinfecting before hatching.
& nbsp; There are 100-300 bacteria on the shell of newly produced duck eggs, which can reach 5000-6000 after 1 hour. Especially in high temperature seasons, bacteria multiply quickly and easily enter the egg through the pores on the shell, causing pollution. If not disinfected, it will inevitably affect hatching. The disinfection method can use 0.02% potassium permanganate or 5% new Jie Er Mie solution. Wash the eggs with warm water at around 40 degrees Celsius, let them dry, and incubate them. The disinfectant should be changed frequently and used immediately. Alternatively, formalin fumigation can be used for disinfection. 28 milliliters of formalin and 14 grams of potassium permanganate per cubic meter should be used for fumigation for 20 minutes. Then open the doors and windows to remove the gas as soon as possible.
2、 Incubate eggs in a timely manner or store them properly.
& nbsp; The average temperature in the southern region from June to September is above 27 degrees Celsius. When the temperature exceeds 23.9 degrees Celsius, the embryo development of the eggs will slow down, and even age and die. Eggs that cannot be hatched in a timely manner should be stored in the egg storage room, equipped with automatic temperature, humidity, and ventilation control devices, as well as egg flipping devices. The storage temperature is 10-15 degrees Celsius.
3、 Reduce the temperature inside the machine appropriately.
& nbsp; The general embryo age is 37.8 degrees Celsius for 0-3 days, 37.5 degrees Celsius for 4-7 days, 37.5 degrees Celsius for 8-14 days, and 37.2 degrees Celsius for 21-25 days. Spread the bed at 26 days of embryonic age.
4、 Increase the frequency and duration of egg cooling and water spraying appropriately.
& nbsp; Spray water once a day from the 8th day of embryonic age, twice a day from the 12th day of embryonic age, and three times a day from the 16th day of embryonic age until hatching. After 5 days of embryonic age, cool the eggs once a day in the morning and evening, for about 20-25 minutes each time, to lower the temperature of the eggshell to around 32 degrees Celsius, and then start the machine to hatch.
5、 Strictly prevent over temperature incubation
& nbsp; Due to the fact that most incubators currently do not have air conditioning, the room temperature during high temperature seasons often reaches over 30 degrees Celsius. Therefore, after 16-17 days of embryo development, the embryos themselves generate heat and are prone to overheating. Even if the heating device in the incubator is turned off for a long time and all ventilation holes are opened, it is still impossible to completely dissipate the metabolic heat of embryo development. In this case, a gap of about a few centimeters should be opened between the front and rear doors to accelerate heat dissipation and prevent overheating·
